Dear Reader,
This website is a celebration of the life of my father in law Cecil Warburton, who died on the 17th September 2008.

When Cecil was alive we had our own little fellowship at home with our friends and neighbours until he became ill with heart failure.
Cecil was a gifted teacher of the Gospel and when he died he left a huge great hole in our lives. Surprisingly it was not his heart that failed him, cancer took him in a matter of weeks, up until that time we were all unaware of it.

Before he died he wrote a book which Jan was about to get published, this was shelved when he became ill. Jan promised him she would continue what he had started and he was pleased when we shared the idea of this website, not only for his book, but to evangelise and spread the Gospel.
Cecil hadn't made his mind up about the name of his book but favoured the title “Thy Kingdom Come” and this was what we decided on until a Christian friend suggested the title “THE MAN WHO LOVED THE TRUTH.” We were thrilled with this name because anyone who knew Cecil, knew that’s what he stood for THE TRUTH  Thank you Pat for thinking of it!

I hope all who view our site will find the time to read Cecil’s book and will be blessed by its contents.
