Few are they that find it - this is so important

To find something means to search - to seek. It calls for mobility of mind and body. The few that find eternal life will find it by following God's instructions laid down in his Word. It cannot be found any other way.
Now this kind of instruction will be foreign to many church goers, who have been led to believe that the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross is completely sufficient for salvation for those who accept it, and there is no more to do. If that were the case it would make nonsense of all the commands, in the New Testament, demanding obedience.
Let us examine some of these commands and warnings. Words from the Apostle Paul: " He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with ever -lasting destruction. ( 2 Thes 1:5-10 )
Obey the gospel. Why? It is good news from God It has got to be broadcast and shared.
One of the major commands that all genuine believers must obey is called THE GREAT COMMISSION. And this is it: " Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded ' you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. ( Mat 28:19-20 )
