March 2010. THE END TIME CHARISMANIA / APOSTASY. By Cecil Warburton.

As an ex-charismatic believer turned true Bible researcher, I am well qualified to reveal the growth of the greatest demonic apostasy of all time. A gathering together of counterfeit Christians of all denominations, including catholics, under one banner. Even disgruntled pagans are welcome and it is not necessary to deny their own deity for nobody cares, it is only experience that matters.

Experience with the supernatural who they think is the Holy Spirit who is prepared to grant them every wish. They have rejected Bible guidance as being unnecessary after-all why bother reading the Bible for directions when you can go straight to God Himself? This is their reasoning. They refuse to accept the fact that their supernatural answers could be coming from demonic sources who are quite capable of giving angel-of-light impressions and telling them everything they long to hear.

If these people would examine the end time prophesies in God,s Word they would get a picture of what is happening. For they are fulfilling the role of the predicted Miracles, Signs and wonders that are false. Jesus put it this way; "FOR FALSE CHRISTS AND FALSE PROPHETS WILL APPEAR AND PERFORM GREAT SIGNS AND MIRICLES TO DECEIVE...SEE I HAVE TOLD YOU AHEAD OF TIME"  Matt 24:24

The reason this organisation is growing so fast and attracting people of all persuasions is due to the claims and promises they make. And there is no need to worry about studying for it is the getting of ecstatic, supernatural experiences that count. Join us and be healed, ask God for whatever you want and he will supply, and receive the gift of tongues from the Holy Spirit enhancing your spirituality. No wonder they are popular.

Whongi Choe, a Korean Pastor, with the largest church (to date) in the world, teaches that when you pray for a new car, God wants to know the exact price, the make, saloon or hatchback. In fact all the log book details. To the Charismatic, God is the genie of the Aladdin's Lamp, a wonderful provider of worldly material goods. The words of Jesus about building up your treasures in heaven and not on earth means nothing to them.

Because they neglect proper doctrinal Bible study they are devoid of truth and accurate Knowledge. They lack sanctification.  Jn 17:17

Also, none lovers of God's Word are in the non lovers category of 2-Thess 2:9-12. "THEY PERISH BECAUSE THEY REFUSE TO LOVE THE TRUTH AND SO BE SAVED." This means no salvation. They are on the wide road that leads to destruction.  Matt 7:13-14

I will never forget the advice I was given by a young woman school teacher in this movement, at one of their meetings. "You will be alright, "she said, "providing you don't take the Bible seriously." I was stunned! But she was being truthful. They don't consider the Bible necessary for today's be-leaver. They can get along without it.

Of course this is where they are wrong. To make God's Word obsolete is to make God Himself obsolete. You cannot separate the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit from the Bible. There are no answers from God to anyone who ignores the scriptures. The Holy Spirit is the Author of the Bible. He does not operate independently from scripture.

And it is God's purpose that the devil deceives those who have no real faith in his Word. It is the test of separation in these end times, ( the sheep from the goats). So any prayers and requests that God ignores the devil intercepts. He can not do otherwise. because although he does not know it, it is all part of God' Will. Satan is deluded into thinking he is winning the battle for worshipers, when all he is doing is helping things along to God's fixed and final conclusion.

Now it is important to get established in our mind this fact; God is not going to confuse the true and steadfast believer. In his prophetic word he reveals two end-time features to watch for: A great apostasy and counterfeit miracles signs and wonders.  Matt 24:24. And 2-Thees 2:9-12. Because of these trustworthy warnings he is not going to perform his own miracles signs and wonders at the same time. This means that all miracles sign's and wonders happening now and into the great tribulation are false.

This also agrees with the book of Revelation which warns against adding to Gods word. So the gift of tongues, new knowledge , and new prophecy from God finished with the last book of the Bible Cannon-Revelation. And that means within the first century AD. Any of these three gifts practiced after the writing of Revelation is not from God.

This does not mean that God is not healing today. He will often heal privately in answer to prayer and according to His Will. But there will be no mass healing like Jesus did when He was on earth. And He is healing through these charismatic healers whose claims are very suspect.

I was a Charismatic believer for five years. I attended hundreds of meetings large and small. I watched and joined in many healing line ups. I saw hundreds of people put on the floor, including my wife and I, they call it being slain in the spirit. I can honestly say that in all that time there was no real evidence of anyone being healed. My wife and I had ailments that needed cure. It just never happened. And what is the point of some invisible force pulling you to the floor without the promised healing. There is no logic in it.

God does not play silly games. And He is not taking part in these charismatic , theatrical, spectaculars. I watched one incident on a TV God channel where the well known charismatic leader blew with his mouth at a group of people who went down like skittles in a bowling alley. Then he waved a hand at his audience and the first three rows went down. this is not true Christianity. Jesus did not go around knocking people over. He moved about quietly in the open air teaching and healing all the afflicted. If there had been any hospitals like we have today, Jesus would have gone in and emptied them. It is thought that he could have banished sickness and all diseases in the three years of his ministry.

If these charismatics are able to heal the way Jesus did, why are they not visiting the hospitals?Just look at the publicity they could get. I'm afraid this is the challenge that would show them up for who they are, counterfeit Christians.

There are many professing Christians who claim to study and believe the Bible. They make a stand on various issues like Homosexuality, Abortion, Child Pornography, Witchcraft etc, yet hang on to the error that tongues, miracles and new prophecy are still in operation by God as in the first century AD.

This means they are only partly truth seekers. It is a distorted truth if it is mixed with error. The Apostle Paul stated that a perverted Gospel is not acceptable to God.  Gal 1:6-9. Also take note of these words of warning from Paul: "I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in amongst you and will not spare the flock. Even from your own number men will arise and DISTORT THE TRUTH in order to draw away disciples after them. So be on your guard! Remember That for three years I never stopped warning each of you night and day with tears." Acts 20:29-31.

Jesus said " The Truth will set you free " and He meant the whole Truth. John 8:32.

Now for those who insist the gifts of tongues, special knowledge, and prophecy from God, are still with us, and will not pass away until perfection comes, let me enlighten you. When perfection comes, man will be living in a New Heavens and a New Earth. Far from it being the end of Knowledge. It will be the beginning of new Knowledge. A new Universe to explore under God's guidance. And the word perfect in the original Greek also means complete. This fits in with the real meaning of 1 Cor 13:8-13. That is the three gifts in question finished with the completion of the Bible.

Those now being used are demonic deception.
