27th January 2010. THE LORDS RETURN. By Cecil Warburton

THE LORDS RETURN.

It is amazing the number of Christians who profess to believe in the Lords Return, yet think the event couldn't happen in their lifetime. This attitude shows a lack of appreciation of God's Prophetic Word which takes up more than 25% of the Bible.

THE END OF THE AGE.

To ignore Prophecy is exactly what the Devil wants us to do. Jesus warns us to keep awake so that we are not caught of guard when He returns. He gave us the signs to look for regarding the nearness of his return, as also did the Prophets and Apostles.

THIS GENERATION.

The question is, are we the Special Generation that is seeing all the Signs now, or are we seeing no more than any previous generation? It is all a matter of comparison. We must examine the Prophecies and compare them with both the past and present world events, the Lord expects us to do this.

THE EVIDENCE

Every generation has had some of the Signs of the Times of Mathew 24. In the past 2000 years, Wars, Earthquakes, Disaster, Diseases, Famines, Crime, etc. But what they have had in the past is nothing in comparison to the Intensity and Severity of the Signs our generation are getting. Statistics prove this.

However, there are two additional outstanding fulfillment's of Prophecy that are due to happen in the time of the last generation of this world. They are: 1) The Return of the Jews to their homeland, (fulfilling the end of the Gentile Times. 1948) See Luke 21:24. 2) The End Times marked by a vast increase in knowledge. see Daniel 12.

The increase in knowledge since the last war is staggering. We are the only Nuclear and Space Conquering  Generation. Amazing technology, the Ultimate in almost everything. JESUS said "When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads because your redemption is drawing near."

The Scribes and the Pharisees neglected Prophecy and rejected Jesus. Let us not do the same. Preach the Lords Return now. Study Rev 1:3, 2 Peter 3:2, 2 Timothy 3:1, 1 Thessalonians 4 & 5, 2 Thessalonians 1 & 2. Time is running out.
