January 2010. THE INSPIRED WORD. By Cecil Warburton.

God expects us to believe that His entire Word from Genesis to Revelation is inspired by Him. "FOR THE WORD OF GOD IS LIVING ... IT JUDGES THE THOUGHTS AND ATTITUDES OF THE HEART ( Heb 4:12 )  

There were two women on a Christian TV Channel being interviewed. One claimed to be a prophetess and the other claimed that she had been taken to heaven, in the Spirit by Jesus Christ. Their presentation and claims were not disputed or challenged in any way. Surely, this cannot be in the interest of truth and light.

The psalmist say: YOUR WORD IS A LAMP TO MY FEET ( Psalm 119:105 ) And Jesus prayed; "SANTIFY THEM BY THE TRUTH. YOUR WORD IS TRUTH." (John 17:17 ) There are dozens of scriptures to show that the Bible is all you need, and adding to Gods Word is condemned in Revelation 22:18.

A study of 1 Corinthians 13 :8-9, shows that Bible prophecy will pass away as it is fulfilled. Tongues will cease, and special divine knowledge will pass away superseded by truth, ( Bible Truth ) ( Amplified Bible ). Love and Truth will endure for ever.

We are living in the end times of this world and eagerly awaiting the glorious return of our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Thessalonians 2 clearly shows that this period will be a time of intense christian apostasy and demonic signs and wonders. "THEY REFUSED TO LOVE THE TRUTH AND BE SAVED" ( 2 Thess 2:10 ) Speaking in tongues today is counterfeit - they cannot speak in Pentecostal tongues. The modern day special divine knowledge claimed by certain individuals is also counterfeit. All this claimed healing is not happening as it did in the Bible times if that were true the papers would be full of it. Today we have the Word of God in its fullest form. It is complete and all we need. Private prophetic additions are counterfeit and condemned.

TEST EVERYTHING.

In this observation I am going to emphasize Bible warnings, so that the reader gets them firmly embedded in the mind. This is important because scripture teaches  that error is the devil's way to destruction, and many are following this route, without realising it. "TEST EVERYTHING AND HOLD ON TO WHAT IS GOOD" ( 1 Thess 5:21 ) "WATCH OUT FOR FALSE PHROPHETS...( Mt 7:15 ) "NOT EVERYONE WHO SAYS TO ME LORD...WILL ENTER THE KINGDOM...( Mt 7:21-23 ) "TURNING TO A DIFFERENT GOSPEL ... SOME PEOPLE TRYING TO PERVERT THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST ... ( Gal 1: 6-9 ). "MEN WILL ARISE AND DISTORT THE TRUTH .. BE ON YOUR GUARD ... I NEVER STOPPED WARNING YOU NIGHT AND DAY WITH TEARS... ( Acts 20:29-31 ). "SATAN HIMSELF MASQURADES AS AN ANGEL OF LIGHT ... HIS SERVANTS  MASQURADE AS SERVANTS OF RIGHTIOUSNESS ... ( 2 Cor 11: 13-15 )

FALSE CLAIMS.

Many people believe that they do not need the Bible. After all if God is manifesting Himself in visions and dreams, whats the point in reading the Bible for guidance? 

Let us suppose there is no Bible. Or there is a Bible that we don't read. When we get visions and dreams, how do we know where these are coming from? Its no good claiming they,re from here or there when we have no proof. If we are not studying the Bible properly we just don't know what is out there. Only the Bible reveals what these supernatural forces really are.

DEMONIC.

Supernatural forces. If we are NOT focused on the Bible sufficiently we shall be deceived. Satan and his demons have the power to counterfeit and supply all the visions, all the dreams, all the sensations, all the wealth you want. And perform miracles.
